Herbal Consultations.

What ever your complaint, or condition, it is easy to book a personal consultation with one of our qualified clinical herbalists. Either at our clinic at Newlands Science Park in Hull, or arrange a personal home visit, if you live in Hull or surrounding areas. We can also arrange video or telephone conversations if this is more convenient.

A consultation normally consists of three parts. An initial chat with one of our clinical herbalists on the telephone, usually about 10 mins, so we can get a general understanding of your needs, and if our services can help you. This is free of charge and can be arranged either by emailing us or calling the telephone number on the site.

This is followed by an hour to an hour and half consultation in our clinic, or at your home, or by telephone or video. During this consultation we will take full details of your current condition, ask about your previous health both personally and within your family, and discuss any medications you are currently taking, or have taken in the recent past. This consultation is a great opportunity to explore in detail how you feel both physically and emotionally, and what it is you hope to get from your treatment from us. This appointment can be booked at the time of the telephone conversation, or if you prefer you can book the consultation using our online booking system, in your own time. Payment will be required at the time of booking the appointment

Finally your herbalist will consider a diagnosis and explore the possible therapeutic options available using herbal remedies, and explain to you what the herbal prescription will try and achieve and how this may support you in managing the condition or complaint that you have come to see the herbalist about.

This process will be centred around you and your needs and will be fully transparent. This may include a prescription if required and may also include a referral to either your own GP for additional tests, or another alternative professional therapist, if this is required as part of a holistic treatment rationale.

If your condition or complaint would in the herbalists opinion benefit from a herbal treatment a personalised herbal prescription will be provided and you will be charged an additional fee for the prescription.
